East Oakland Futures Festival (EOFF) is an annual block party with an Afrofuturistic theme showcasing the best in East Oakland’s food, arts, tech, and culture. The half-day street closure along Scraper Bike Way, which features a bike lane in the center median, serves as a creative and safe approach to using the streets.
Firewood Events was inspired by Scraper Bike way and the multitude of community organizations involved to plan a bigger and better festival that benefitted the deep East Oakland Community. Firewood Events exceed EOFF’s outreach and engagement goals while providing excellent customer service to all of the organizations involved in the event.
